Yes, but only if the venue is officially recognized as a “town hall” (casa comunale), meaning it has been authorized by the local municipality. In these cases, the ceremony is legally valid even if it takes place outside the municipal building. Generally, holding a civil ceremony at a villa is more expensive than celebrating it at the town hall.

Of course, your wedding is also a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a short holiday with your loved ones. It will be a pleasure to organize experiences such as visits to our beautiful historic towns, wine, olive oil and gelato tastings, as well as excursions to local farms.
